This is education, not advice
The information here is written for the general reader and does not replace a personal medical consultation. It cannot tell you how much load your own tissue would place on a hold, or whether a thread would be visible under your skin.
A thread changes position, not laxity
A suspension thread gathers and holds a plane of tissue. It does not remove skin, does not tighten the skin, and does not reposition the muscle layer. Nothing on this site should be read as saying that a thread plan produces the result of a face or neck lift, or that the change is durable.
No outcome is promised
No treatment can be promised. How much of the early change is still visible at month six, whether the two sides look even, whether the skin puckers or a thread becomes palpable, and whether a thread has to be removed all vary between individuals and cannot be settled in advance.
When to seek care rather than wait
A thread that has broken the skin, spreading redness or warmth with discharge, fever, or pain that is worsening rather than settling should be looked at promptly rather than observed at home. The contact page gives the numbers for the hospital.
